This place is horrible. I had a rebuilt transmission and has gone out 4 times in less than 6 months. Could not produce receipts for parts. Picked my truck up last week and transmission went out again. Said all parts were going to be replaced all internal parts would be new. Today claimed they did not. BEWARE they are not doing the work they say. Demanded a refund and am waiting for the return of it. UPDATE the shop said they get their parts from Transtar in Addison Illinois. We'll after several phone calls and Omar who runs it said I needed to provide my Vin number to get access to warranty. Surprisingly there's no record of my transmission being rebuilt. Next step is the Better business bureau and seeing them as scammers. UPDATE: new transmission shop has my Suburban and to no surprise no gears after 2nd waiting for and video and photos of what Del Toro scammed me out by lying what was rebuilt. UPDATE to no surprise new transmission shop said whoever worked on my Suburban did not know what they were doing. Complete scanners Del Toro. Have complaint into Better business bureau and other legal options. Am getting every part from new transmission shop to show what was not replace

I brought my 1984 Cadillac Deville two-door over to this establishment because I heard that they give good services and they do good work. That is a lie. I have pictures of my rearview missing the rearview mirror and the inside of the vehicle is left dirty with garbage I will never ever go back to this place, and you guys shouldn’t either. When I arrived to look at my vehicle, I noticed an employee spray, painting old parts to make them look new. I clearly am disappointed in this young man and his father service had they just told me they cannot work on a transmission on an old school I wouldn’t be very upset. Do not go to this place.

Went to ask if they do differential work, and was told they don’t do that kind of work. Suggested we go to Stevens Transmission on Raynor . Absolutely a breath of fresh air. The honesty in the owner made my jaw drop. He said I can’t take your money and hope for the best . Honesty at this time is unheard of. Thank you DelToro Transmission for your honesty!👏

I highly recommend this father and son business. They are knowledgeable and honest about their work. Omar was very friendly and took his time to answer all my questions. If your car is having transmission issues they are the ones for the job.
